Peter Hegarty is a psychologist-historian.  He researches how the effects of norms on thinking about difference are demonstrated and communicated in language.  In addition to his involvement in SENS, he directs Dr. David Griffiths’ Wellcome Trust funded fellowship project Intersex UK: A History for the Age of Consensus.
